How do I connect stereo speakers to receiver for TV audio?

How can I connect basic stereo speakers to my receiver for TV audio? I have an older mitsubishi receiver. I have connected the speakers to the receiver and I've connected the TV to the receiver using input/output jacks using the video component jacks on the back of the receiver. I have the right component selected (Video/AUX) but I'm not getting sound from the speakers.

What could be wrong? How do I fix it?

Alright ,Tom let's get down to it. An older Mitsubishi is always a great unit. It should always work for you, so it must be a cable, or switch setting problem on the "M". OK, first the speaker setting on the "M". Which speaker terminals did you go into with your speaker wires, "A" or "B"?

Make sure the speaker terminals you went into in the back matches the speaker selection switch setting on front (A, B, Both, etc).

OK, now, your older "M" will not have "video" inputs on the back, and you don't bring audio into video inputs. (read your question again) Look at your TV. You must come out of the "Audio Out" RCA terminals of your TV, and, in an older stereo, you go into "audio in", or into "tape in" or "tape monitor input".

Then, if you go into the "tape in", or "tape monitor in" inputs from your TV, you must have the selector swich on your "M" set on "Tape", because your stereo will think your TV is a tape player.

OK, something is wrong, but it's simple. Check out what I told you, re-plug your wires/cables, and if it still doesn't work, click on my avatar, go to my profile page, email me, and we will fix it, or else something else is broken (not likely).

After making all necessary settings, press the "Start" button to start converting DVD to iPad.

 

Step 4. Transfer Output Video to iPad

 

Connect your iPad to PC and transfer the output video files to your iPad with the sych of the iTunes library.

 

Part 2. How to Convert Video to iPad Using iPad Video Converter

 

Click the "iPad Video Converter" button to launch iPad Video Converter. Import video files stored on your PC by clicking the "Add File" button. The other steps are the same as those of ripping DVD to iPad video.

have apple iphone 3gs mobile phone. I am looking for Car Charger with Audio Out for my iphone, but I unable to find it. The one that is found on the apple website is only used for charging. I want car Charger with Audio Out also. If anyone know anything about it then please help me.

i bought a HDD that is SATA, but i doesent come with a SATA cable...and the HDD im using right now is PATA, and so i don't have any cables.(my mobo support both SATA and PATA) i was planning to buy this cables SATA data cable and SATA power adapter cable, i heard its cheap so how much will that cost me?........

Composite Video Cable

Video card has S-video to component cable but I need composite?

My computer's new nVidia brand video card has S-video out but the incl. cable is s-video - component. I have an s-video - composite cable but it doesn't seem to work with this card (it worked with three previous ATI brand cards). At first I thought the TV-out component was just broken so I sent it back but the new card won't work either. Any ideas?
It's not a TV problem because I've had three ATI video cards working with it using the same S-video to composite (RCA-type) cable. This new nVidia card has HDTV output but I can't get it to work with my older TV (no S-video input just RCA composite).
I've checked every nook and cranny of the settings menus. The adapter doesn't recognize the TV being connected and even when I force it, nothing happens.

Also, go into your adapter properties and make sure that the analog TV out is enabled. I screwed around with this for an hour before I caught it....duh!

S-Video is a step up from Composite RCA. S-Video takes the picture and separates it into two separate components; the Chrominance component (also called C), which is the color information and the Luminance (also called Y), which is the level of brightness, or rather the levels of black and white in the picture. This is why S-Video is sometimes called Y/C Video. The separation of the picture information allows the signals to be sent without coding/decoding, so there is no loss of clarity. Also, the separate signals are isolated from each other so change to one does not affect the other, which allows for a greater degree of control.

The next step up is Component Video. Component Video is the best way to connect your equipment. It takes the separation idea even further, by separating the picture into three component signals; two different color signals, and the “black-n-white” signal. The further separation of the color signal allows for better resolution and color saturation. Of the three, Component video is the only one with enough bandwidth to handle high-definition information, so it is mostly found on HDTV equipment and DVD players. Component video is often labeled Y/Pb/Pr.
