i need help connecting bi-amp speakers?

do the blue and the black wires stand for the red. my wires are blue and black, clear and white.. please HELP!!!

First, make sure the links between the terminals on the speakers are removed.

Then verify the polarity of the wiring by checking the wires on the back of the receiver.

I would guess the black and white are the + and - of one amp (probably front left or right) and the blue and clear are the + and - of the other (probably labeled surround rear left or right). If so connect the black and white to one set of terminals on the speakers and the blue and clear to the other. Maintain the same polarity (e.g. black to black or + and white to the red or -).

But it really doesn't matter as long as a) you connect the wires from one amp to one set of speaker terminals (e.g upper) and from the other to the other set (e.g. lower) and follow the same pattern and colour coding on both speakers. Just don't wire the same amp output to the same colour terminals.

i have a power amp (technical pro) that im going to use with speakers that have a speakon and 1/4" jack input.

if i had a speakon cable with one end a speakon connection and the other end a 1/4" jack connection, could i have the speakon connection plugged into the power amp and the jack connnection plugged into the speakers?
would this power them?

if not, would a speakon - speakon connection work or banana connection?
would they be able to be heard over drums?

and my speakers are 600w, and power amp is 1600w
